Pop R&B recording artist, singer and songwriter, Chayah (kai-yah) is known for her sweet yet powerful voice. She has performed all over the United States and throughout the Bay Area and has won numerous awards for her singing and songwriting.
Chayah's song, "LOVE YOU BOY", won the Pop song competition and was named "Best Commercial Song of 2006 and Most Likely to Succeed." Chayah also won two Muse's Muse Awards for "Love You Boy" which won BEST POP SONG of 2006 and BEST POP PERFORMANCE in a POP SONG of 2006. "LOVE YOU BOY" also went on to win the Face the Music Songwriting Competition at which songs were submitted for review by musicians, producers, and songwriters.
Chayah has opened for artists such as Jesse McCartney and has performed the National Anthem for the NBA Golden State Warrior's opening games and for the San Francisco Giants baseball games.
In addition, Chayah has performed for several Radio Disney events such as their annual event, "Boo at the Zoo." In 2005, Chayah was the featured artist at the New York International Film and Music Festival which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has also won several talent competitions such as the College of San Mateo American Idol Singing Competition and the Hip-Hop Talent Show which she won 1st Place for Most Outstanding Artist.
Chayah is known for her soothing and powerful voice. Her songs have magnetic grooves that are sure to capture your heart and soul. Chayah's voice, versatility, range, emotion, and her honesty caress the songs that she sings. It is through her spirit, her soul, and through her music and voice, that she has touched so many. Chayah is currently working on her debut album and will continue to share her music with the world!
