| General | I've got the normal interest of the male species - movies, music, sports, dogs, old cars, people, traveling etc. | | Music | I do enjoy music. I have about 55 gig of music on an 80 gig hard drive. It ranges from 1898 to the present. Of course the '60's' music is the best to me. Think about it. What do you usually hear when you go shopping. That music and a little '70's'. Isn't that odd? | | Movies | This is where I need to get a life. I really do enjoy my movies. I pretty much like to watch most movies. Even the 'B' rated movies and a few 'Z' rated. Most of them I do not look for the acting ability as much as the storyline or the scenery. Of course my real enjoyment is when the good guy rips off the arm of the bad guy and beats him over the head with it type of movie. In other words I do enjoy a Bruce Willis style movie. But will watch a romance and sad movie in a heartbeat also. Comedy can be the best when done with the right taste. And I don't mean Chris Rock. I have rated well over 4700 movies and have started a website www.youmeandtwodogs.com with blogs about the movies I have seen and hope others with put their two cents in plus blog a few movies themselves. | | Television | Why even watch it. Well maybe for a little stretched out news. And some golf and maybe someone's important speech. That would be it. Television went south when they started allowing crap like 'Reality Shows' to exist. What a way to lower one's mentality. I do watch House but that is only thru Netflix so I don't have to deal with the worthless commercials that bribe people of their money | | Books | I have always enjoyed books. Except for the smut books. I have read a few and really do believe someone is not in the right mind to write a smut books. | | Heroes | 'Heroes' - That is a pretty strong word. I would say that I have no real heroes but a few who I admire more than others. My step dad was just a fantastic man. He married my mom who had 12 kids. What a crazy man! My first wife for having to tolerate me for 19 years. What a woman. My new wife for being who she is and tolerating me for as long as she has. My daughter for being a great person and wonderful mother to my grandkids. My deceased son for being able to make it thru all the hard times he had in life which most people will never see in their lifetime. He was a great kid in the end. That would pretty much some it up I guess. |

I am I. No more, no less. My wife says I am very outgoing and will talk to anyone about anything. How true it is! I enjoy talking about whatever anyone wants to talk about. I give my opinion and expect an opinion back. It doesn't have to agree with mine. If everyone agreed with each other then we would have a boring life.

I retired from the Air Force after 22 years of military service. Spent a little time in the Navy during that time period. Got tired of the political bull crap one day and walked into my commanders office and said 'I don't work for assholes and your an asshole'. Needless to say I went directly to the personnel office and put in my retirement paperwork. He was just a little pissed.
I grew up in Missouri and spent a lot of time traveling the world while in the military. Got married to a wonderful woman I met in Australia who provided us with two great kids. Unfortunately she died in 1991 of brain cancer. My son was able to reach 25 before he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and was crushed by a hug boulder. My daughter (the nurse) has provided me with 3 fantastic grandkids. I met a great woman in 1997 and we finally got married in July 2004. She is a middle school teacher with a lot of patience and a great mind. A man cannot get any luckier than that.
Well that is it for now. Probably will update it but then it would become a novel
