Born and raised in Paris, NYC's resident Chaze , first experienced hip hop in the late 80's when a friend lent him a book titled "Subway Art" ; directly attracted to this unknown art , Chaze started bombing Paris with his signature.

In 1991, Chaze and his crew of French Bombers were out to "destroy" the train station below the world famous Louvre Museum in Paris. There was a collective rush as they began their mission, but it was brought to a quick halt when the crew was busted and incarcerated for a little while. That minor setback didn't stop Chaze from continuing to bomb, however. He hooked up with artists from London, Belgium and Germany and in 1996, he formed the Grim Team, a european graff collective.

In 1999, while working for a French label / distributor ,he became more and more interested in doing beats and started to work on a MPC 2000 with help from a French established producer Gallegos who gave him some production tips. The same year he recorded his first song with Young Zee from the Outsidaz for a mixtape of the famous French Dj: Jr Ewing Chaze eventually grew tired of the Parisian Mentality and lifestyle and decided to move to NYC with his partner Greg Sam To develop Grim Team in a clothing company.

He is now working on stuff with Raze, Milano,Smiley The Ghetto child,Infamous Mobb,Prospect etc...he is also finishin'recording the Grim Team album and will prove that French people can burn cars but also deliver good music.
