HISTORY:
In the beginning the music god's said "Let there be ROCK".... and there was ROCK .... and the ROCK was good .... ah, hell the ROCK was GREAT cuz' CHEAP DATE was in da' hizzle fo' rizzle throwin' the rock DOWN! Jager anyone?!

"Where have all the GOOD cover bands gone?" It was THE big question asked all over VA/MD/DC/NC/PA/NJ/DE/WVA. So, in the spring of 2001, four local boys started the cover band of all cover bands.....it was the start of something EPIC! Bringing together musical talents, road experience and stage presence unmatched, CHEAP DATE knew their time had come to conquer the local music scene and bring the people what they'd been begging for....a cover band that actually ROCKED! You remember when live bands were actually GOOD and played music that everyone knew and loved? Well, CHEAP DATE remembered and brought it all back, directly from your CD collection! Every decade, every genre, every type band and singer brought to you live and kickin'! If you're hearing it new outta your radio then CHEAP DATE'S playing it live. And, they BRING THE ROCK, folks! But, have no fear, my friends....they'll throw ya' a bone with some pop, alternative, metal, country, R/B, dance....whatever will bring out the dancers, drinkers and damn crazy partiers out of their holes and on to the dance floor! Playing mostly current and some classic tunes, CHEAP DATE is here to make it a party! It's covers, covers and more covers....they play it ALL and make it a SHOW! Close your eyes....is that a disc or a live band? The tunes....they just keep comin'! What's a band to do....whimp out or throw down?! You know how this band of rock-n-roll brothers roll so be prepared to bring it!

Now, years later (with a few major upgrades along the way) CHEAP DATE continues to give the people what they REALLY want....a night of feeling cheap and rocked outta their minds! Being one of THE most sought after rock cover party bands in seven states, plus the nations capital, CHEAP DATE delivers what other bands only hope for.....a PARTYFEST every time they play! Fans come from far and wide just to rock the night with the best and CHEAP DATE doesn't dissapoint! Now, having sharpened their skills in the best venues, shared the stage with some of the best local-regional-national acts and rocked in front of THE best crowds, CHEAP DATE'S able to bring the rock party like no other! And it's a party worth remembering...or NOT remembering depending on how many socials they've called! Bitch, please..... did someone say JagerBomb?!

Everyone at CHEAP DATE H.Q. would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to ALL the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard and Reserves (regardless of branch or rank) for doing what they do to keep us safe and free here and around the globe. Freedom Ain't Free....and it's because of their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their families that we're able to do what we do best...BRING THE ROCK! Everyone in Cheap Date has at least one worthy charity that they personally support, and the band will never be able to choose just one to get behind because there are so many wonderful charities in the world. But you have to start somewhere and the Relay For Life cancer walk is our beginning. The lead singer's amazing wife is a cancer survivor (Hodgkin's Disease) and it's because of her that Cheap Date's first charity is the American Cancer Society. Every year they participate and walk in this amazing cause. Please help support the great work of the American Cancer Society so one day this type of disease will be a thing of the past.
