Cheap Thrills is the personified back to the roots band. Rock with guitarsolos (yes, they are allowed for the Cheaps) and a, for these days, remarkably stable voice. Bass and drums build the right ground to give the listener all facettes of the golden years of rock.. With lots of musical humor, here and there some progressive chops, especially live the band sound a bit like Deep Zeppelins or even ZZ Purple. Cheap Thrills have fans throughout Germany. It’s their live appearance that make them a live specialty. Some fans come to the show just to see the faces that the Cheap drummer makes during his performances. No special effect is needed. Just charisma. 2008 Cheap Thrills won the German Rock- and Pop Award in the kategories „best progressive act“ and „best country song“.
