Layout courtesy of..MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE.... .. 2008 recipients of the Northern California Artistic Acheivement Award for Best Independent Band, The Cheatin' Buzzies is comprised of family members Jenn Knapp (Vocals and Guitar), Robb Kopp (Drums), Darin Driscoll (Bass and Vocals); and close friends Bruce Carter (Guitar and Vocals) and Luke Weber (Piano and Vocals). After years of making music with other people, this tight-knit group formed in the Summer of 2005. Since that time they have played various shows in the Northern California region--headlining weekend club shows as well as supporting regional touring acts locally. In the Summer of 2006, the self-titled "The Cheatin Buzzies" was independently recorded and mixed in Nevada City, California, and mastered by Chicago based Carl Saff. The Cheatin' Buzzies recently released their second CD titled "Save The World" on June 13th 2009 and are currently in the studio recording tracks for their third CD.
