'Cheer Up Jenny :)' was borne of a wild night in a wanky-bar pontificating on misery and salmon. Jenny herself was borne of an artist and an actress, and became a musician when she got a plinky-plink piano age 8 and a half. She first performed live age 15 to a lot of old rockers and young indie-children branded with stick-on-self-harm-scars. Thus followed many years trawling the open mic nights of Scotland, occasionally being paid, more often not, until she arrived in Glasgow, aged 20. Thereupon, some thieves happened upon her flat and STOLE her plinky-plink machine, the bastards! She miserably started performing her lyrics and became a performance poet. She does the latter often, but her fingers are looking for some action. She has unearthed her passion for the plinky-plink, but not so much that she still doesn't need to cheer the fuck up :) You can help her by prodding her virtually to record some of her plinky plink and put it up here to be perused and berated by absolute strangers. Thank you.

Nice atmosphere in the track. Moody. You should try to do a cover of a song called 'Gloomy Sunday,' the fabled 'suicide song' by Rezso Seress. Something nice and brooding for you to play with.
dear jenny, thank you for playing last night at RUBY'S TUESDAY. your performance was wonderful. whenever you perform the magic just pours out of you. the piano and jenny, in my mind, creates a picture. at night. a volcano and its lava flowing. enchanting, dangerous and beautiful. the first song you played will be taken to my grave. wow. i have to hear you sing again. imperative. being truely and absolutely moved by music is seldom. gratitude. wow. oh, and deeply sorry for sound difficulties. please don't kill me. xxx gavin d
