My fav book right now is "Are you there Vodka, it's me Chelsea" by Chelsea Handler (My Idol), she's also written "My Horizontal Life".....they are the funniest books i've ever read!!!!!Also anything by Sophie Kinsella (Can you keep a secret was my fav of hers). And of course "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne...it taught me to always think positively, and always see the best in every situation.

About me: Whats up MySpace, this is my Official MySpace page. My name is Chelan Simmons pronounced by some directors (we will keep them nameless) as CH-ELLEN, or SHALON or CHELACK, or SHELONG...all very amusing, however...the proper way to pronounce it is: SHELL-LANN. I live in Vancouver with my Fiance and our Puppy, I love living right in between the mountains and the Ocean. It's so beautiful. I love Vancouver for so many reasons...one of them is that you can relax on the beach or drive 30min away and go skiing...it's pretty cool. Right now I've been going back and forth to LA...I signed with a great agency there named UTA! I've been an actor for 20 years and I've been dancing for about 14 years. I usually play characters that are 17years old to 26 years old. I've been in projects such as Final Destination 3, Good Luck Chuck, The Christmas Cottage, Wonderfalls, Smallville, Supernatural, and ABC Family Channels number one show Kyle XY Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3! If I wasn't an actor I don't know what I would do. I would probably be lost!! However if I had to pick a different career....I think I would love to be a Chef. I spend a lot of my off time cooking, and watching the food network (Barefoot Contessa is my all time favorite)!! I also spend some of my spare time working out, taking combat class, taking kick boxing, rollerblading, hiking, playing golf, painting (ok I did it once), watching movies, hanging out with my friends, and with my puppy her name is Talula, she's the love of my life....she's almost 5 years old, but I still call her a puppy! I'm addicted to gossip magazines (I know i shouldn't be), I was so excited to have my pic in Us Weekly and Life and Style.. I'm also addicted to shopping...I have recently discovered online shopping...a really really dangerous new discovery for me...lol. Just like any girl I love Clothes...even Talula has a Juicy Velour Doggie Hoodie, Yes my dog has clothes...in my defence she has hair not fur, so she needs them to keep warm, plus her bunny slippers are just so darn cute! My ideal role would be in a comedy, I love to make people laugh.I would love love love to work with Michael Cera, Owen Wilson, Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, and Seth Rogen... my list could go on! What you would usually see me in is jeans and a boy beater and some flip flops. I'm a comfy girl. I love people who love life...A smile is way more beautiful than a frown. I'm best known for my roles in Horror movies...which is funny because it's tough for me to watch any horror movies because I get so scared...even Harry Potter scares me (I know...my 9 year old nefew makes fun of me all the time, it's just...my brain believes everything that it see's.)! I've been busy the last four years filming ABC Family's #1 show KYLE XY! We just got news that Kyle XY got Cancelled...it was the best 4 years of my life, thank you to all my fans for your support, we still have a few episodes left to air....make sure you check it out Monday nights at 9pm on ABC Family!!!!
