    no. i didn't have a water birth. i labored in the water... and it felt great! it really takes the stinging pains away. atleast for the most part. i ended up not having a natural birth. i chose to have an epidural. however it didn't last the whole time i was in my hard labor. in fact, it wore off before i gave birth... as my mom put it, i pretty much ended up having a natural birth anyway. my only advice to you is (if you are getting one) get the epidural as soon as you can. i waited till i was 8cms dilated and felt most of my hard labor. it really sucked. but in the end, it was worth all the pain i went through. keep me posted on the shower. i will come if i can. (we don't have a car right now... it sucks!!!!!)

    hey chelsea! how is the pregnancy going. braxton was born on april 28th. i went through 29 hours of labor. EEEK! i wish you lots of luck!
