Chelsea is a 19 year old upcoming singer/songwriter from Hallsville TX. Chelsea has been singing since the age of 3 and started performing publicly at the age of 9. Chelsea graduated from Hallsville High School and spent her first year of college at Tyler Junior College. This ambitious entertainer will be attending Belmont University in Nashville TN, in the fall of 2009. Chelsea has perfomed at many various shows such as the Gladewater Opry, Dogwood Jamboree, Wylie Opry, Forney Opry, Carthage Hayride, Lousiana Hayride, East Texas Jamboree, Arcadia Opry, Marshall Opry, Legend of the Stars, Nashville Spotlight, and Grahams Central Station . Chelsea has also performed at many festivals and events including, Alley Fest, Fire Ant Festival, East Texas State Fair, Hugh Springs Chamber of Commerce, Gold Card Luncheon, Stage Coach Days, Winter Wonderland of Lights, and Light up Longview. Chelsea recently had the honor to perform at the famous, Billy Bobs. This driven artist has won many awards such as Jr. Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the year at the Gladewater Opry. Chelsea recently won an award for her song "Livin My Life," and was given the opportunity to co write with the very successfull, Kirsti Manna, who is the writer of "Austin," by Blake Shelton, and "Loud," by Big 'N' Rich. A few more of Chelsea's original songs will be posted soon.
