Johnny Rohrbeck, Chelsie Boyd, and The Pulse leading worship at Vineville North in Macon, GA singing Hosanna by Brooke Fraser - Recorded February
24th, 2008
....
Chelsie Boyd was like most other little girls who carried around a hairbrush disguised as a microphone – she loved to sing and put on a show for family and friends. Her uniqueness quickly brought her into the spotlight, though, when her performances were noticed to be more than typical three-year-old jumbles. By age 11, Chelsie had teamed with budding young producer, Jason Hoard, to record her first album. Two more followed over the next few years and she started to garner some industry attention. She put a band together, started touring and even got some radio airplay.
Now, at 18, Chelsie Boyd is back with a fourth installment and her stage is set. With a sound reminiscent of Plumb and vocals in the vein of Christy Nockels, Chelsie Boyd not only has the talent, but she also has the life experience to back up what she’s singing. Having written or co-written six of the 10 songs on Image, she shares her story with urgency and a desire to walk alongside others rather than to sit back and watch a repeat in someone else’s life.
"I feel my ministry is all about inspiring other people to use their talents for God. That's why I sing for crowds as small as 10 people to as many as 1,000 or more. You never know who is in the audience waiting for someone to boost their courage a little and show them what life is really about."
Chelsie, Thank you for adding me to your list of friends. I really appreciate it. My current project is a fiction novel with CD soundtrack due out in a few weeks. Wishing you continued success and a wonderful musical creative week.
Peace and respect,

my prayer... Blue is the sky, a canvas in your hands, painting me portraits to beautiful to understand. Crimson is for precious and silently I see, how precious this life that was given for me. Green are the fields, pastures to roam, you have led me through the desert and safely brought me home. Blue is the ocean shallow at the start, but deep in the middle just like your heart. How did I get here? How did I reach this place? It’s only in the deep, pure light that I could ever see your face. Crimson is the blood that made this life complete. I find myself laughing with tears, sitting at your feet. Jesus… I love you.
