We are Dave and Beth, a husband-wife team who sing Contemporary Christian music together under the name Chenault. Chenault is actually our family name and it means "a channel." We choose to use our family name to work as A Channel for the Living Word, because that's exactly what we hope to be and do. Our love for the Lord drives us daily to focus on what we consider a rather unconventional ministry, by most standards. Our ministry takes us into the community where we can meet and work with people who have the same concerns as we do: how to serve as devoted disciples in a troubled world, and how to raise children to be faithful to the Lord despite their challenges. Our ministry serves singles (who want to get marry someday), single parents (just as we were for years), and parents (like us now) with children they want to raise to be faithful to the Lord. We know the problems people face: the disappointment, discouragement, and disillusionment that come when reality puts faith to the test. We'd like to share with you what we have to offer: our faith, encouragement, and hope that comes from the Lord through His mercy and grace. Sharing means we also hear from you the words of wisdom you have gained in prayer that might benefit others and us.
We don't pretend to be perfect human beings just because we've dedicated our lives to Christ. But, we want you to know we also dedicated our past mistakes and current struggles, as well, and found joy through God's forgiveness. Gaining a second chance, we found Something More, which is more than just the title of our new CD. We hope you'll continue to share Something More with us by listening to our music and passing it along to your friends. Together through Christ we can do powerful things to heal our troubled minds, hearts, and souls and that of our brothers and sisters and find peace. Please visit us a Chenault Music.com to discover more about Chenault and our music and ministry.
We dedicated "Something More" to Michael T. McCaskill (Beth's Brother), whose life was a tesitmony to the amazing power of our Lord and an inspiration to everyone who knew him. On June 16th, 2007, Mike went to heaven to be with his savior after battling brain cancer.
