Sounds Like
Your dreams played backwards, strained like peas, beaten and mashed.
Born in 1955. Did many things, most of which I don't remember. Went away. Came back. Got married. Had two kids who are a constant source of bewilderment and joy. Wrote some self-indulgent poetry and 5000 first chapters of novels never finished. Drove around, here and there, in many cars, with many friends, up and down, there and back. Wrote more bad poetry I hope never to see again. Read many books and obsessed over many musicians, composers, artists, playwrights, poets and assorted spaceshots of the orgone spirit. Wrote several plays, which I actually finished and saw produced. Now I spend most of my time struggling with acoustic guitars and writing an occasional song about sex, death, booze, or disaster because these are the subjects that delight me. Still have strong suspicions that I was born on the wrong planet, at the wrong time, as a member of the wrong species. Still doing my best to withdraw from this species. But life was a good choice after all and I'm glad I haven't died yet.

Hey Steve...........thanks and you really have to love life because you never know how long you got so even when the bad things get you down you kinda have to take it in stride and make the best out of it............and learn to accept the things that you don't have control over...........I am looking forward to the great weather ahead, beach days and long rides on my motorcycle......take care, enjoy the nice weather, life and keep rockin my friend!!!!!
LS,Thanks again for letting me play along with your set last thursday.Rarely do I get the chance to perform with someone who willingly admits to feeling like he was born the wrong species on the wrong planet. So,I would say that we have something in common besides the year we were born here
