I love cinema. I like every kind of films (Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovski, Peter Greenaway, Derek Jarman, Bernardo Bertolucci, Michelangelo Antonioni, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Georges Melies, Jean Luc Godard, Francois Truffaut, Alain Resnais, Robert Bresson, Julio Medem, Victor Erice, Jim Jarmush, Aki Kaurismaki, Emir Kusturika, Lars Von Trier, Werner Herzog, Ingmar Bergman, Carl Theodor Dreyer, Luis Bunuel, Sergei Einsenstein, Fritz Lang, Friedrich Murnau, Robert Wiene, Georg Wilhelm Pabst, Yasujiro Ozu, Akira Kurosawa, Kenji Mizoguchi, Nagisa Oshima, Wong Kar Wai, Chan Park Wook, Takeshi Kitano, Shunji Iwai, Sogo Ishii, Tsukamoto Shinya, Takashi Miike). Genres as artistic videocreation (Nam June Paik, Bill Viola, Matthew Barney, Zbigniew Rybczynski) or documentary (Dziga Vertov, Val del Omar, Agnes Varda, Nicolas Philibert, Tony Gatlif, Ron Fricke) should be so well considered as comedy and drama are. By the way, I think one can only get satisfaction from a movie when the author bets for the truth, humanism and a sense of poetry in it.

Heroes
Gathering in arts, philosophy, history and everyday life, one can find several great masters but if I had to choose one hero he would definitely be monsieur Antonin Artaud. The next great source for me would be Hijikata Tatsumi. And I would necesarily recomend Eugenio Barba, Jerzy Grotowski, Peter Brook and so many remarkable men as big chances to learn more about growing trough the supreme arts of absolute presence & true freedom.

I listen to almost every kind of music, from classical to jazz, passing trough rock and electronics, ethnical and experimental genres. Anyway, if I had the chance to choose an inspiration to create a band or a soundtrack for a play or a film, I would try to move towards elegantly messed industrial atmospheres like the ones in some of the works of Sainkho Namtchylak, Einsturzende Neubauten, NIN, Tool, King Crimson, The Third Eye Foundation, Autechre, etc...
