| General | Movies, photography, cross stitch, knitting, postcards, travel shows, collector Barbie dolls, women's history. I really love book stores. | | Music | I've always been a Bon Jovi fan. I grew up on Barry Manilow and some disco so, of course, I have some favorites there. Laugh at me all you want. My friends still love me. Growing up in the 80's, I also love the metal hair bands. Poison, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Winger, etc. My music tastes are all over the map. Classical, oldies, Ozzie, Sinatra. You name it. Rap and hip hop have just never appealed to me though. | | Movies | I like all sorts of movies. Haven't gotten into any foreign films though. Not much of an audience for them here in small town Arkansas. I like the classic black and white movies. My favorite is Rebecca w/Sir Laurence Olivier & Joan Fontaine. Our DVD case runs the gamut of selections. Everything from American Pie 2 to X Men 2 and everything in between plus a wide range of animation for Christopher (& me too) | | Television | M*A*S*H is my all time favorite. Other favorites are CSI: and CSI: Miami, NCIS and Without A Trace. I also like Travel Channel's Passport to Europe and Great Hotels with Samantha Brown. | | Books | I've been getting into a lot of history lately. I have a book of women's lives during the move westward in the 1800's. I think it's fascinating. I like historical romance too. Lately I've gotten into the romances written by Christian authors. I was getting tired of the sex scenes that last for 5-6+ pages. If I want to read about sex, I'll go buy a copy of Penthouse Letters! I want a plot, a story line, not a porno on paper! | | Heroes | Hmm...Tough one. Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, Sharlot Hall. The NYC fire department and the passengers of Flight 93. |

About me:
After living in Phoenix all my life, I picked up and moved 3 states away to be with the man I know happily call my husband. A move which thoroughly baffled my family. Probably still does, to some extent. For those of you who don't think so, he did offer to move to me instead of vice versa. In the end, I couldn't ask him to move away from his son. Not when he had just convinced the ex to let him move back to Arkansas to take advantage of better facilities for Chris' difficulties. What else about me? I've been to Ireland and can't wait to go back. I swear there's Italian in my heritage somewhere even though Dad says no. I have more moms and mothers than I can shake a stick at. The most recent being an Italian Catholic from New York. Needless to say, only one Mom is closest to my heart. All together now! Aaawww....
