A cross between contemporary, jazz and Celtic - lots of influences, including gospel. (My first album was produced by gospel artist Paul Greenidge, who also played amazing keyboards on the album - we had so much fun jammin'!)
Cherlyn –
A versatile violinist, concert artist, worship leader, composer and clinician, Cherlyn holds a Master of Music from the St. Louis Conservatory of Music. In addition to being on faculty of colleges, conservatories and music schools across the country, she’s played with artists from Natalie Cole, Yanni and Liza Minnelli, to contemporary Christian artists and worship bands, and artists from the Crystal Cathedral. Her ability to play all styles and improvise freely with the flow of the Holy Spirit has led her to play throughout the United States for Christian artists, churches, conferences and national events.
Cherlyn performs in concert and leads worship throughout the Pacific Northwest, and has a ministry to help children and families in crisis through World Vision. Cherlyn is the strings clinician for the international Christian Musician Summit conference, and also holds workshops for worship bands and string players throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Cherlyn is on the faculty of Kaleidoscope School of Music in Issaquah, WA.
