About me: The Cherokee County Music Society was formed in January, 2007 by founding members Sandy Serge and Mark Waterbury, both Cherokee County, GA residents. Sandy owns and operates Cherokee County's Serge Entertainment Group (http://www.sergeentertainmentgroupcom). The Society is open to all musicians, songwriters, music industry professionals, and music-related businesses located in Cherokee County, Georgia.
MISSION STATEMENT
• To create opportunities for musicians, songwriters and music-related merchants within Cherokee County by developing more opportunities to increase visibility while preserving integrity and striving for excellence in the music community

Requirements to join:
1. You and/or your business must reside in Cherokee County
2. You must be in the music industry or be affiliated with the music industry
3. If you are in a band, at least on band member must join to be eligible to participate in events and at least one band member must reside in Cherokee County.
Annual Membership Fee: $25 per person or $15 for students (college and high school).
Our calendar year runs from January 1 - December 31. Payment is due at the beginning of each calendar year. Dues are tax deductible as a business expense.
