    This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
    But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
    (Matthew 1:18-21 NIV)

    "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked man, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. (Ezekiel 3:17-19 NIV)

    And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ[a] the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
    Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
    "Glory to God in the highest,
    and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." (Luke 2:8-14 NIV)

    God grant you the light in Christmas,
    which is faith;
    the warmth of Christmas,
    which is love;
    the radiance of Christmas,
    which is purity;
    the righteousness of Christmas,
    which is justice;
    the belief in Christmas,
    which is truth;
    the all of Christmas,
    which is Christ.

    How are you doing today? Stopping by to wish you love, joy, good health and peace during this cold (snowy for some) month of December. Please keep my youngest granddaughter Alyssa in Alaska in your prayers. She is going back to hospital in Seattle on Dec. 13-15th for her Erbs Palsy. Thank you for your friendship and all your prayers for me and my family, both mean so much to me! Praying for you too, Mrs G
    "The Meaning of the Snowflake...
    Every new snowflake comes to the earth
    as a picture of our Saviour’s birth,
    because they are sent from up above
    and remind us of God’s care and love.
    Each one is so intricate and small
    because Christ sees the details of us all,
    and just as two are never the same
    the Lord knows and calls us each by name.
    Snowflakes gently cover the world in white
    and hide what’s unlovely from our sight,
    showing us how He covers our sin
    and gives us His grace when we come to Him.
    So may every snowflake bring Christ to mind
    and in every bit of white may you find
    a reason to celebrate anew
    and a reminder of His love for you."

    For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify GOD in body & in you spirit. HOLY SPIRIT our Comforter, Helper, Counselor, make YOUR PRESENCE known to us this day our FATHER has made, rejuvenate & bring passion to our marriages, direct our conversations in love, resist hearing, speaking, watching anything that is wicked or evil, cast away desires of lust & unfaithfulness, help us to refrain from all lusts of our flesh, speak always the truth, forgive one another, flee fornication, stop entertaining those things that promote violence, greed, drug use sex outside of marriage(man..women), dressing like harlots, & alcoholism, we need to give priority to our eternal futures & glorify our FATHER in HEAVEN, WHO sent HIS SON JESUS CHRIST as a sacrifice, so whoever believes, obeys, leans, & trusts in HIM may have Everlasting Life in Heaven, lead us to knowledge to live according to our FATHER'S WILL, as we study meditate & put into practice HIS WORD, for we will all have to give account to our actions on Judgment Day. James 1: 12 Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor's] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted from God; for God is incapable of being tempted by [what is] evil and He Himself tempts no one. 14 But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire (lust, passions). 15 Then the evil desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death. 16 Do not be misled, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect ( free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse]. 18 And it was of His own [free] will that He gave us birth [as sons] by [His] Word of Truth, so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures [a sample of what He created to be consecrated to Himself]. 19 Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry. 20 For man's anger does not promote the righteousness God [wishes and requires].

    Friends..."Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Christ." (Colossians 3)

    2 Surely God is my salvation;
    I will trust and not be afraid.
    The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song;
    he has become my salvation."

    3 With joy you will draw water
    from the wells of salvation.

    4 In that day you will say:
    "Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
    make known among the nations what he has done,
    and proclaim that his name is exalted.

    The Lord spoke this to me one Thanksgiving a couple of yrs. ago. Happy Thanksgiving!
    As I was sitting here thinking of all the things I was thankful for, I believe the Lord spoke and said. Have you ever asked me what I'm thankful for? I believe he said, I am thankful for my servants, who, through adversity, still worship me. I know and understand the difficulties that happen, because, remember, I was also tempted, in all points, as you have been. I am thankful for my children who overcome. I am thankful for those who have died for my kingdom. I am thankful for those who don't look to the things of this world, but have given themselves to me. I am thankful for your heart and your life that you have given to me. I cherish it above all else, for those whose hearts have been given to me, I will surely use in my kingdom. Maybe you can't cook. Maybe your rolls flopped today, when you wanted to make them special for your family. Maybe your pumpkin pie burned. Maybe you can't be in two places at one time. But I see your heart child, and I want you to know, that I love you with a love that is so indescribable, that you can't even fathom it. Yes, child, I am thankful for you. I pray and intercede for you. Nothing can take you out of my hand, because I clench my hand tight when the enemy comes and tries to steal you away.  Worship me today!!! I am with you as you fill your plate. I am with you when you eat your turkey, mash potatoes, giblet gravy, dressing,  olives, and green bean casserole, and Wal-Mart store-bought rolls. I am with you when you start on the dessert table. Oh, the pumpkin pies, and the pecan pies. Everything I make is good, don't you think!? I am with you as you sit around the table with those you love. I am with you when your heart breaks because there are some missing at that table. So, remember, as you enjoy today, I am there at your Thanksgiving meal with you. Observing and sharing today right beside you.
