About me:

SHORT BIO

Started to dj in London in 1997, promoting and playing records at club kitten (London) along with my friend Stuart (20 jazz funk greats) for 3 years.
Returned to Portugal and restarted the club in Porto. The club had huge success, throwing monthly parties for more than 1500 people, moving to bigger venues and also doing monthly club nights in Lisbon at Lux.
Nominated best new act in 2004 and won best national electro DJ at the "Danceclub" awards in 2005.
Played all the festivals in Portugal, a few in Spain and has dj in London, Paris, Madrid and played with 2 many DJS, Sebastian, Felix da housecat, Headman, Peaches, Boys noize, Rory Phillips and others…
Released 3 albums with my band “x-wife”, where i sing, play guitar and write the music along with Rui Maia and Fernando Sousa. This year i sang on “never coming back” by Rui Maia released on "optimus discos" (Music By Rui Maia, words and singing by me)

2008
. Release 3rd x-wife album "Are your ready for the blackout?"
. DJ sets with:

. Played Festival sudoeste in September 9th.

2007
. x-wife play SXSW in Texas and sign deal with pupillo records in Spain.
. Start playing records at downtown cool club Pitch, Porto.

2006
. Release second x-wife album "side effects".
. Monthly residence at Lux .

2005
. Winner of best national electro DJ at the "Danceclub" awards.
. Monthly residence at Lux and Industria in Porto as DJ Kitten.
. Started new Club "Cherry Bomb" with monthly guests at Maus Hábitos, Porto.

2004
. R.I.P Club Kitten in Porto and Lisbon.
. Nominated "best newcomer DJ" at the "Dance Club" awards.
. Release first x-wife album "Feeding the machine".

2003
. Club Kitten starts at Lux in Lisbon.
. CK moves to Swing in Porto (Barry 7 dj's first night).
. Club Kitten Gold second edition in Teatro Sá da Bandeira, almost 2000 people attended.
.Released first x-wife ep and signed deal with Nortesul.

2002
. First club kitten Gold at Tetro Sá da Bandeira. Around 1430 people attended. Guets: Souvenir (Tom Vek), Codec & Flexor, DJ Kitten.
. Started my band X-wife with Fernando and Rui.

2001
. Moved back to Portugal and restarted club kitten in Porto at Triplex with my friend Fatima Magalhaes.

2000
. R.I.P Club Kitten. During this 3 years, articles about ck came out in I-D, Sleaze Nation, Time out, Evening Standard, Surface magazine and others...

1997
. Club Kitten moved to HQ's in Camden for 2 years.

1996
. Founded club kitten with Stuart (20 jazz funk greats), Sitron and Michael. Me and Stuart played records (everything from analogue noise, kraut pop, glam beats to air guitar rock) and Minty played the first night.

1995
. Started to play records in East London at the Student union of my university.
