I am a Doula and breastfeeding support consultant right now. Pregnancy, Childbirth, babies, Breastfeeding anything in that general area are all something I have done a lot of studies in and have a huge passion for. Right now I just offer my services free to teens/young woman, as this is something I feel every woman/girl should be able to experience and be educated on these things and unfortunately a lot of woman and especially teens/young woman are not in a financial situation where they can afford these services, since this is a passion of mine this is what I feel is right for my life right now. I also have a business BooBeary Designs, in which I make baby/mommy items, particularly Cloth diapers("LalliBoo's bum covers"), cloth wipes and Baby carrier's/slings, in my free time. I don't do this all the time or even a lot right now, more so just as a hobby and if/when someone makes a request for an item. For the most part I stay at home with my daughter and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

And I get ask a lot "what do you do as a doula" or "what is a doula".. So, a quick run down if you are wondering.

My job as a Doula:
.
A Doula is professionally trained in childbirth,
Doula's provide emotional, informational and physical support
for the woman who is expecting, in labour or who has given birth.
Doula's make themselves available by phone to the expecting mother
to answer any questions or explain developments that may arise in pregnancy.
.
Anyway, I'm an all around crunchy mama,I breasfeed(extended meaning past the first year), co-sleep, baby/toddler wear, cloth diaper and cloth wipe and teach baby signing, natural childbirth, delay/baby led solids Etc Etc..I guess I am a 'hippy mama' as some may refer to my/our style of parenting/lifestyle, but wouldn't do it any other way :)

Uhm, life could be better but I'm not really complain bc I'm alive lol.
My husband and I are separated, but still close. Maybe we'll work things out in the end.
He's deployed to Iraq right now so I worry about him constantly.

And I've got about a year left in school doing my general education stuff, and then I'll transfer to a 2-year college to become a dental hygienist. And then eventually I'll continue to become a denist. Well, that's the plan for now anyways lol. What about you? Weren't you going to school to become a birthing coach or something? Sorry if I'm totally wrong lol. I just thought I remembered you talking about that

But things over here are..getting there, lol. We're still sort of adjusting, its been hard for me to manage both of them for now since Alex is going through his stubborn im not gonna listen stage, other than that things have been okay. Alex is great with the baby, hes so protective of him, if he gets upset he checks on him and tells him its okay, hes constantly trying to kiss and hug him, doesnt like anyone but me and his dad touching him, Lees mom came in to see him and she was holding Travis and pretended to "Steal" him she told Alex she was, and started walking towards the door, and Alex went off, he grabbed onto her leg and yelled "Gimmie Travis" and when she didnt he started screaming and got so upset, lol. So yeah its been pretty good, i was worried hed be jealous since he was a big mamas boy but now he doesnt really care to be attatched to me like he was, hes more on his dad now. And ive been breast feeding, when i finally got the hang of it, it was going really good, and i felt my milk come in already so i dont think its that, but all of a sudden this morning it started to become really painful so idk, im just worried my supply will go somehow, i know alot of people have that problem..

how often do most breast fed babies poop? lol
travis nurses every hr and poops after every feeding, for a baby that eats once an hr thats alot of poop..has me alittle worried..is that normal?
