About me:
I am 68, semi-retired and run a small business in high springs fla., where i select tilapia that are genetically better and sell
them all over the world.
I have been called the father of tilapia in the us, but have to give that title up to my new one, which is the Grandfather of tilapia in
the US.
I have been to over 50 sites in the u.s and in the world as a consultant on growing, breeding and teaching. that includes nearly
every country in South and Central America, all of the Carribean, several in africa: kenya and saudi arabia, and have sold
breeders to nearly every Country on Earth except the north and south pole. and have supplied tilapia to a project on the space
shuttle where they performed experiments in orbit on the cochlea of the developing tilapia larvae in zero gravity.

Tilapia can gain weight in ponds and tanks quicker than any other fish. tilapia can consume almost any organic crop or waste
from production. waste yeast from fermenting grains used to create wine beer or liquor, or waste from dairy production of
cheese or any other organic product. tilapia can even eat the bottom mud in a pond and
digest up to 70% of it.
Tilapia can be produced in intensive systems using pure oxygen and various vegetable byproducts and can gain weight at the
rate of one gram to 1,000 gram (a kilogram in 8 months) and in quantities exceeding 1,000,000 pounds
per acre. tilapia are being grown in open ponds in cages, in raceways, in tanks.
The chinese are now producing dirty tilapia in hugh quantities and selling them frozen in the united states for a dollar a
pound and selling hundreds of millions of pounds a year to us and shipping the all the way from china. these tilapia could be
produced in the united states for less than the imports.
Tilapia can be grown here in the united states for less than half of what the frozen fillets are selling for. Growing tilapia can
be self sustaining and integrated with other farm systems.
this means the tilapia can be a green product from the point of view of environmentalist and yet be a valuable crop that can be
grown year round and harvested weekly from properly designed growing operations.
***TILAPIA CAN PRODUCE MORE POUNDS OF EDIBLE PROTEIN PER ACRE FOR LESS MONEY AND WITH LESS ENERGY THAN ANY
OTHER KNOWN PLANT OR ANIMAL.***
Tilapia can be grown in under developed countries in quantities that can rescue the millions of children that do not have
enough protein in their diets to grow into health and happy adults.
Tilapia can be grown in your own back yard or in larger productions. tilapia books are now available and i do consulting for
people who want to start up and learn about tilapia. getting into production can be very inexpensive or very expensive.
There is no magical way to avoid investing in tilapia if you want to benefit from the incredible capabilities of tilapia.
I got into tilapia and developed some of the intensive systems that i consult on to help people solve the
various problems which must be solved to reliably get large crops to market. i have selected different strains
and species over my 37 years of working with tilapia and in one way or another played a role in getting
hundreds of people into tilapia, most of which are still involved.
I have provided some of these special tilapia breeders to growers in mexico, the caribbean, brazil and most of
central america.
To date I have been able to confirm that i have been involved in assisting the production of over two billion pounds per year on
thousands of farms , in mexico, the caribbean, brazil and most of central america. most of the involvement has been the selling
of brood stock but i have personally been to over 50 countries in this
hemisphere to consult with farmers and help them get started up.
I am available to create a consulting agreement, teach classes or provide the best and the most beautiful tilapia breeders in
the world, to produce the best and fastest growing hybrids in the world hybrids that can grow to from one gram to a kilogram in
8 months.

Breeders that allows the farmers to get over 100% more meat from each hybrid than was possible when i started the selection for
improvements just over 36 years ago.
That alone makes my hybrid pennyfish worth over two times the value of other available tilapia fingerlings including the
israeli fingerlings and the supermale fingerlings sold by fishgen.... .
If you need assistance, i have the experience and knowledge of 36 years of designing and building growing tanks that supply
sufficient oxygen and water conditions to produce a quarter of a million pounds of hybrid tilapia in each tank each year, and to
do it with around one kilowatt of power per pound of tilapia produced. Because tilapia have all of the excellent characteristics
listed, and more, tilapia offer us the opportunity to almost immediatly provide food for the healthy development of young
children in all countries, the undeveloped countries and developed countries.
Tilapia will also provide the opportunities for great wealth in the more developed areas of the world.
Part of the reason for this is that tilapia can be cultured in much less expensive conditions than any other fish, that I know of.
Tilapias can produce more protein per square feet of growing space for less input (food,money, labor, and LAND ) THAN ANY
OTHER KNOWN CROP (ANIMAL OR VEGETABLE.)
Tilapia will also represent the new “grow it at home” aquaculture species due to the fact that over a hundred pounds a year
can be produced in a 24 foot round or square tank like those sold in Recreational Warehouse (with proper installation and
growing methods.)
