Music is #1 - Keyboards, Writing, Playing, Performing, Listening, and Watching.

Computer/internet-related stuff, such as: blogging, music recording software, graphics software, creating web pages, computer programming, database technology, etc.
    Apple computers, software, hardware.
Cherries, Sanrio, Paul Frank, Mashi Maru, The Powerpuff Girls.
    My friends.
    Good conversations.
"Southern Style" Iced Tea (Freshly brewed, extra sweet, NO lemon).
    Fun colored mascara and lipstick.
Obscure, non-radio friendly music that hardly anyone else likes or knows of but I adore.
    Dark classical music. International music.
Comedy: Margaret Cho, The State/Stella/Reno 9-1-1, The Lonely Island, Dave Chappelle, Demetri Martin, The Kims of Comedy, Sifl & Olly, more.
Taking long walks. (Either by myself while listening to music or with a friend while having a chat). It's a good way to de-stress and of course get exercise.
Wondering what Mozart's music would sound like if he was born in the 1970s.
Trippy filmstrips from the '60s that we watched in Science Class (how do I get a copy?!!!).
    the '80s and '90s.
Learning new things. Meeting People (is easy).
    The numbers 3 and 9.
    Taking evening classes.
    Admiring great art.
When rock bands have keyboards, flutes, trumpets, violins, cellos, bongos, or any other numerous other instruments that aren't always in the "standard" rock band. There are so many instruments to choose from, so it's a shame to just use only vox, guitar, bass, and standard drums in every band.
    Co-ed vocals.
Females who sing low. Males who sing high.
Outer Space. Scary, deep sea creatures. Being fascinated by, yet intimidated by spiders.
    Organic and natural foods.
    George Castanza wallets.

  • Television

    .msc {scrollbox code}
    The State, Stella!, Reno 9-1-1,
    My So-Called Life,
Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, King of the Hill
Sex and the City, Queer as Folk, Six Feet Under, Sopranos, Mr. Show, Mind of the Married Man, Curb Your Enthusiam,
All-American Girl, Chappelle's Show, South Park, The Office, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, 30 Rock, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (even though I've only seen about 2 episodes), The Bernie Mac Show, Saturday Night Live
Unsolved Mysteries, shows on PBS about outer space (actually I watch PBS probably more than any other channel, which apparently makes me a dork), Veronica Mars, Medium, Prison Break,
The Powerpuff Girls, Punky Brewster, Today's Special, Little Bill (even though I don't understand why he's bald), Saved by the Bell, Pokemon,
Sifl and Olly, Beavis & Butthead, Daria, I Love the 70s-80s-90s, Standup Spotlight, Super Secret TV Formulas, Headbangers' Ball, Pop Up Video.

Late Night w/Conan O'Brien, Last Call w/Carson Daly (the best up and coming bands on there),
I get annoyed by most prank shows. You're wasting these people's time!

If you have "Kill Your TV" on your profile but you have a tv in your house, then kill it. OR GIVE IT TO ME. If you say it's just for watching dvd's then I better not see 80 percent boxed sets for television shows, either. The only person who was cool when he killed his TV was Elvis. ;)
  • Books

Lately, I've been reading mostly computer-related textbooks, since I am an IT student. When I have more free time in the future, I would like to get a bunch of good books and read them.

-"The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins
-"A Night Without Armor 2: The Revenge" by Beau Sia.
-Poppy Z Brite's biography of Courtney Love
-"Grrrls: Viva Rock Divas" by Amy Raphael
    -"Animal Farm" George Orwell
-"Race and Ethnicity in the United States" Richard T. Schaefer
    -Dr. Seuss
    -Shel Silverstein
    -Books about health
  • Heroes

My mother for teaching me how to be strong and for being the one who first introduced me to the piano.
And anyone who dedicates their lives to serve others such as the good doctors and cops. The rare non-shady politicians who are actually doing what they do for the right reasons. The men and women who serve our country. Firefighters. These are real heroes in my eyes.

    More About Me

I'm Teresa. I think for the most part I am a pretty easy person to get along with. Your first impression of me depends on my mood. Sometimes I can be totally outgoing and just start talking to you and even come up and introduce myself. But other times I am totally shy around new people and have no idea what to talk about or how to act. And that shyness may come across as arrogance to some, but it's not. I enjoy meeting new people, so don't be afraid to say hi to me! Also, I am very bad at remembering names. Please don't take it personally.

My main passion has always been music. I've been playing piano/keys/synth since I was a toddler. You can check out my music myspace profile here. I also like working with computers and I'm just starting to learn computer programming and database technology. I'm currently going to school half-time for Information Technology in the evenings and I work as an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a health insurance company during the day. I also like to blog. But lately I have not been updating it as much, due to my studies.

I like going out to local bands' shows and chillin' with my friends in my free time. I love messing around on my keyboard/synth. I plan on moving to New York in a year or two and finish up school there.

My ethnicity: I'm half Korean-American and my other half is a mix of Native American, British, Irish, German, and even more.

I think the brain is the sexiest part of the human body. Sure, I like good physical looks as well, but if someone doesn't have much going on up in the head, then I don't really care much.

If we're friends, you can view my recent bulletins here.

    Who I'd like to meet:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Margaret Cho, Andre 3000, Jorma Taccone, Akiva Schaffer, Chester Tam

If I could meet fictional characters from TV: Jim and Ryan from "The Office", JD and Turk from "Scrubs", Trent from "Daria", and Bruce from "Family Guy".

Hot cops (the non-crooked types, of course).

Your parents, so I can figure out why you turned out the way you did.

-Someone who can make me laugh.
    -Down to earth folks.
    -Realistic dreamers.
-Someone I can have intriguing conversations with (and comfortable silences, when necessary). Sometimes a guy might not catch my eye at first, but if we can have a great conversation, I'll be hooked.
-Those who are very passionate and have goals that drive them.
-Individuals who are willing to take risks but not those who don't think before they do things.
-People who don't forget that they should learn from the past, but not dwell on the past.

    People who are:
-Confident but not cocky. Shyness can also be cute as long as the
    person still has some self-esteem.
-A little bit geeky/nerdy but still well-rounded and sociable.
-Knowledgeable and cultured but not in a snobby way.

I have some awesome friends, but I wouldn't mind making more.
