I've been a singer since I was 18, have released an album on itunes called "I'll Stand By You" on 1st November 2008 which has sold enough to get me to 23,000 at the rankings of lala.com i've recorded a further 3 singles, one of which was released 3rd June 2009 on itunes called "FIREWALL". I have a single named "I BEG U" which I have no plan to release as yet, good dance song though, and also I have a single which is also unreleased called "YOU CAN DO IT" which I plan to release at a later date, once a video is completed for it. It was a collaboration with Baker Media's MANCHESTER Creative TV&VIDEO director 'PETER BAKER'. ALL RECORDINGS produced in London at MOTION STUDIO by Producer ALAN VAN KLEEF. ALL vocals including B.V's by CHERYL ASTER.
In 2008 at the release of my album, I became my own publisher/ independent record label, as I wanted to prove I could sell records, just by being myself, a venture still ongoing... I have had 73,500 visits to my myspace page in 2 years of going worldwide publically on myspace.
In 2002, I was on Ch 5's Night fever.
I have over 12,000 fans worldwide, majority of my fans are in the uk, west coast of america and austrailia! and I'm regularly mailed by many of them. Keyboard and piano playing took over me very young, and this fuelled my ambition as a pop singer. The thing I love about pop is its so suggestive, and experimental. Hope you enjoy listening...

Cheryl released her Debut Album "I'll Stand By You" on iTunes, CdBaby and all good download sites on the 1st NOV 2008. It has reached on the rankings of lala.com from 97,000 right up to 23,000 on the week commencing 22/04/09 within the same week and is still climbing the rankings.
In the early days, as a child she recorded a cover song at just 12 years old.
It was "One for Sorrow" for ITV 1's "Stars in Their Eyes".
At the time, Cheryl was too young to appear on the show, but there after was in and out of the Recording Studio's in her home town, and singing LIVE perfecting what was later to become her career. Cheryl made a tv appearance on Channel 5's "NIGHT FEVER" on the panel of singers in 2002, and this experience fuelled her ambition all the more. Having released her Debut Album "I'll Stand By You" Independently through her own Indie Label

Cheryl was a student of Huddersfield Performing Arts College in 1999/2000 after leaving school at 16.
She attended Yamaha Music School as a child where she did grades in piano taken at Huddersfield University from the age of 4 til 16.
Cheryl's ability to improvise in music grew at an extremely young age and was writing music on the piano simply by improvisation.
Cheryl says " I self taught myself really to play piano, but did the grades to please my parents, and because I wasn't old enough to entertain properly until i grew up. I knew my talent all along was in pop/rock not classical music. I would listen to music on the tv, or radio, and instantly play it on the piano or keyboard. I found that it brought attention to myself. friends and family, so i did it all the more, until it became a complete fixation! I was hooked. For LIFE!! my ambitions just grew and grew, and the older I got, the more people I met, and the more confident I became as a performer"
I'm 26, and i'm still learning ! even though i've done all I have, travelled all the places I have, I still get a kick out of testing my ability, like I recently got a sax, which is something I do for fun, I enjoy different styles of music. Pop/Rock is the style I most love, and i'm really digging Kelly Clarkson's new song "My Life Would Suck Without You" and Pink "Who Knew" Can't stop singing them and "Firewall" at the moment!!
As long as its pleasing to the ear, catchy, or dancy with a nice hook and beat, I'm in my element! and these songs have!
Whilst at college Cheryl began to persue her dream of becoming a pop star and hit the clubs/pubs/venues around yorks.
She's popular in her local town of Doncaster and her home town of Huddersfield and is now somewhat of a celebrity to the locals.
She can pack a restaurant/venue, having not sold any tickets, but purely from passerbys coming in because of the sound they hear from outside!!!
Her voice is so clear and warm, it draws listeners in from on the street!
