CHERYL HILL !!!! ______________________ "LET LOVE IN" video preview
Dubbed as the "thinking woman's music”, CHERYL HILL's powerful high energy rock has won her many fans and a growing list of festival appearances and club concerts. Capitalizing on the momentum of four successful independent releases, Cheryl Hill is aiming high with her fifth release, a power-packed 3-song EP titled LET LOVE IN (produced by John Alec - Junoon, East Village Opera Company).
Cheryl grew up all over the US and attended 5th grade in London, England. As the daughter of a roving corporate mogul, she never lived in one city long enough to put down roots. This might explain the tension and release present in her music, which has prompted various music writers to describe it as “an inspiring ride, from brakes to blastoff” and “pure melodic rhythms that take hold of your body.”
After a couple of years working and making a living with her music in her favourite city New York, Cheryl moved to Austin/TX in September 2007. She was not the only one who relocated to Austin at that time, so did drummer SEAN SNYDER (Florida), guitar player ULRICH ELLISON and bass player SABINE ELLISON (both from Vienna/Europe). It didn't take long to find out about each other's shared passion for driving, energetic music. In December 2007 they formed the new Cheryl Hill Band. Soon they started to circulate through the local rock club scene and have been getting some great feedback from the very start for their straightforward performances showcasing hot guitar work and hard hitting grooves underlining Cheryl's charismatic voice.
Cheryl hopes her fans will continue to have a good time at her shows and absorb inspiration from her craft, she says, “every time I can get people to think about their lives and what they truly want out of life, it feels like having succeeded in some small way in making the world a better place for everyone.”
