Welcome....a bit of background on my company....
What I do is a bit different than normal publicists. I believe that publicity is more than just pumping up words on paper. It’s about sharing real, tangible thoughts and ideas. Consumers are digital. They’re smart and they can smell a spin a mile off. Thus, the old way of doing this is invalid and no longer functional.
While I do maintain some of the old methods like writing, faxing and snail mailing press releases, I put a lot of stock in contacting journalists via electronic means.
On the other side of things, CHP works the Internet via electronic news wires and social networking when necessary. In this day and age, you don’t exist until your listed in Google. We don’t want our projects to just be listed, we want to launch our information to the search engines as quickly as possible to achieve maximum exposure. Google Cheryl Hughey Promotions and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Finally, CHP is also an event promotions company that can work on a shoestring. Rather than purchase advertising, we seek innovative ways to create exposure through advertising trades and sub-events. We can work satellite or on-site when needed. Some of the trades and/or partial buys we’ve achieve include television, radio and print.
Although Cheryl Hughey Promotions is best known for its work in the music industry, our other clients in the engineering, Internet, fitness and entertainment sector.
