Chester's kitchen or simply Johan Bodin as my folks named me as a new born. The son of an engineer and the son of a librarian. Raised and broght up in the depth of deep dark Dalarna in Swed'n. Welder, musician, i guess. I'm part of Pocket Metropolis(formerly known as Techno Sunrise) and Fellow Diners and this would be music i make on my own.
2003 i released an album not many of you have heard i reckon, it was titled Chester Copperpot and it came out on the swedish label Payperbag Records. That was an hour worth of music with me trying to figger out what i was doing, today five years later i still don't know. ha. hope ya'll dig.keep kraaut. johan

This online EP release (5 Tracks & Artwork) is not just an appetizer for the album which follows on June 26 - among the album versions of "Storm" (feat. Evan Dando) and "Feel the Love" it contains a remix of "Storm", made by labelmates Monocular, the track "Cavallo Pazzo (Song For Mondo Fumatore To Sing)" feat. Werner Kureinski, former member of Aheads and "Do It Right", a nice version of the Daniel Johnston song performed by Tortuga Bar and Navel.

...filigree and athmospheric electrosounds, combined with the charismatic vocals of the singer Nic Koray, all in all creating an extraordinarily melancholic and thought-provoking music having no equal...
"Somewhere On The Line is the best debut album in the widened Trip-Hop-Genre since Goldfrapps legendary Felt Mountain" (Zillo Magazine 03/09)
We are very proud to announce, that Monocular s "Water Shape EP" is available at your favorite Online-Store now.
Containing the single "Water Shape" from the forthcoming album "Somewhere On The Line" (April 03, 2009 VierSieben Records/Alive) and three non-album tracks ("Consequence", "To Admire The Life", "Ravenclaw"), it is definitely a must have for all fans of filigree and athmospheric electrosounds.
Where bands like Lamb or Frou Frou left a gap in the late 90s and early 21st century, Monocular redefined the sound and set new standards in developing their complex music by connecting charismatic vocals with entrancing soundscapes.
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, the fundamentals are still relevant today.
