Sounds Like
ESTEBAN, ESTEBAN, ESTEBAN. I swear to God, if we sound anything unlike Esteban, you can take us out back and shoot us.
Long ago and far away, there was an indescribably powerful band called The Great American Challenge. They flourished and prospered for many moons, rising to the apex of the music scene. Then, in an irreconcilable argument over who would get the last beer, each member of the four-piece Challenge shot another one of its members all at once, much like that one movie where the people are standing in a circle and through some circumstances each guy has a gun on the next guy in line, and they all end up dead at once. You know that movie I'm talking about. In this case, however, one member escaped due to his attacker's poor aim. Inadvertently knocking over the space heater while fleeing the scene of the crime, he set the house on fire. The phoenix that arose from those flames melded the spirits and talents of the three fallen musicians into a new and equally amazing band by the name of CHESTNUT HOUSE.
After a brief resting period, Chestnut House relocated from Valhalla to a place found most deserving of its gift: Denton, TX, already home to so many talented bands, yet none quite the same as theirs. A piano rock trio with influences from Ben Folds Five to Chick Corea, The House is constantly seeking a greater audience to absorb its magic sound.
A few low-quality, unmixed, one-take recordings of some of Chestnut House's songs can be heard above. These recordings are completely not representative of the sheer, unbridled power of a live performance.
Oh, and after listening to those tunes, you should comment on them and let us know you didn't hate them.
