What is the essence of a man? Of course the answer is, "...depends on the man. " For some, it's a combination of things. A little bit of country ... perhaps even a little bit of rock and roll. But for this particular man, I think I'll stick with a little bit of cheese ... and a little bit of fat.
You haven't lived until you've met the the enigma that is, Brian Mounts. Born in what seems to be a galaxy far, far away, Brian has traveled the world. The son of a pastor and military man, Brian moved around a lot during his childhood and has called many places home. Currently, he calls San Diego "home," but in reality it's just another stop along the bus route of life. Another stepping stone. Another chapter in an unfinished book. Who knows where he will end up next...
Brian is a lover of all things that are fine: wine, books, music, cheese, women, cinema, and bowling. Not necessarily in that order. Cheese might be closer to the top of the list. Brian is clearly a sophisticated gentlemen; rarely does he leave the house without a classic fedora adorning his head. And in regard to women, clearly only a sophisticated " gentlewoman" -- a woman who knows how to be a lady, not just a girl -- will do. A woman who can carry a conversation on all levels (art, music, politics, world events, news, culture). A modern-day Audrey Hepburn, if you will... maybe a Flor Mounts. Hmm, that'll do.
On a semi-random multi-weekly basis, you can find Brian hitting the lanes. As an avid bowler since his youth, Brian has now taken his competition to the next level and actively participates in PBA tournaments here and abroad. He is living the dream. He also enjoys baseball and rarely misses a game in which his favorite team, the Oakland
Athletics, are playing.
In the business world, Brian is somewhat of a financial guru. He holds a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Business Administration from Point
Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. He is also in the midst of an MBA program with Ashford University and is currently employed by Union
Bank of California. Furthermore, he serves as financial guru / consultant to the Nice Guy Society and NGS Media.com. In his spare time, you may find him planning, calculating, analyzing, advising, and playing with Excel spreadsheets.
Music is also of some significance, so it is worth mentioning here. One of Brian's favorite musical groups is JD
Sumner and the Stamps Quartet. In addition to Southern Gospel music, Brian also enjoys classical, jazz, and various other genres. In high school and college, Brian participated in worship teams and in choir.
So as you can see, here is a man who wears many hats ... and not just the fedoras on his head. Call him whatever you want: nomad, ladies' man, gentleman, bowler, number cruncher... just don't call him late for dinner. And keep your eyes open...because who knows where he will end up next.
