What's in Bloom
Visitors to the Garden can see all their favorite flowers of summer right now, including roses, Waterlilies, hollyhocks, false goatsbeard, hydrangeas, clematis and many varieties of daylilies and hosta.
Classes for adults
Offered days, evenings, and weekends, courses—including “green” classes—and certificate programs appeal to a wide range of gardeners and those interested in botanical arts and crafts, nature studies, plant conservation, botany, garden design, plant and people interaction, and healthcare garden design.
Classes for children and families, teachers and students
The mission of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at the Chicago Botanic Garden is to develop, deliver and evaluate plant-based educational programs for teachers, school students and youth in grades PreK–12. Our programs engage learners of all ages and backgrounds through hands-on, interactive experiences with plant and environmental science, ecology and nature.
