The Dirty Business Brigade is a worldwide group of performers intimately associated with The Dresden Dolls. We are not exclusive. We welcome newcomers with open hearts and are constantly seeking new ideas.
Our goal is to create worlds of beauty and art inside the typical world. They say "Life is a cabaret" and our mission is to make it feel that way. It's up to us to make it happen. We are creative people supporting other people being creative.
Ideally, we'd like to take this beyond the venues provided by The Dresden Dolls and we encourage everyone to perform on the streets in their own towns, or at hospitals for children, or on the bus, or at other events, or anywhere you can think of to add an extra touch of beauty to the world.
This particular branch of the brigade is for a Chicago & surrounding areas (Illinois/Michigan) oriented brigade. This group is not limited to Chicago citizens but is for anyone who may attend the Chicago/Illinois/Michigan shows and wishes to join in the brigade madness. If you are someone who is interested in brigading but would not be able to attend the Chicago/Illinois/Michigan shows because of your location, check out The Dirty Business Brigade on Myspace. This is the myspace meeting place for brigaders of all cities.
