Thanks so much! I've actually had a zine in the works for quite some time now. Rest assured once I finish it you'll be the first to get some copies ;) I LOVE YOU GUYS! Back when I lived up north I went to chicago comics and quimby's every chance I got <3
You guys will hear from me in the near future! Thanks again and CHEERZ!
as the result of recent crazed comic summer festival madness i have procured a large quantity of 2000 A.D. from my local shop.... very cheaply... the progs range from 212-517 (incomplete) lots of complete runs/story arcs rare gems by Alan Moore, Brian Bolland, Brenden McCarthy, Ian Gibson, Alan Davis and more... the list of great talent on this book from the early to late eighties is amazing...
When I got my first Jefferey Brown comic I was talking to one of you guys, I think the bald one that looks like Moby. (Sorry if he hears that a lot.)
Anyway, I was talking to him telling him I like romantic bull shit comics about relationships and out of nowhere this girl marches up to the front of the store. As she's doing this she's waving Be A Man in the air, and belting out "Get him be a man!" It was hysterical and awesome. And I should have gotten her number.
on the off chance someone bought one of my books from your store, this may be of interest to you.
the first three Trains Are...Mint are being collected into a lovely little hardback with an introduction by everyones favourite comics historian, Paul Gravett.
