Chicago Hip-Hop Filmmakers Caucus's Blurbs |
About me:
The Greater Chicagoland Hip-Hop Filmmakers Caucus nfp was founded in January 2006 during a politically activist film festival at Kennedy-King College. Together they will build and strengthen the Chicago area’s independent urban motion picture industry. The Caucus’ founding were affiliated with the not-for-profit hip-hop community development corporation Chicago Hip-Hop Initiative NFP, which was co-founded by a Caucus member
Our objective is to provide discounted film & video production support for its members and to provide limited-to-comprehensive support to urban film productions visiting the region. The Caucus created the Greater Chicagoland Hip-Hop Film Office to fill the void left in video & film production support for the region.
We wish to establish Greater Chicagoland as a commercially viable urban filmmaking community. Greater Chicagoland--Northeaster Illinois, Southeast Wisconsin, and Northwest Indiana--is irresistible. And soon financiers, investors, and film & video production companies will be eager to shoot features, documentaries, and music videos here.
Email-chicagohiphopfilm@yahoo.com. The Caucus is listed with the Illinois Production Guide and Diversity Guide published by the Illinois Film Office.
