About me:

I'm Mike McNicholas. My old radio show called “The Chicago Local Music Scene” was discontinued because the whole station changed formats. In the meantime, I've been asked to host a show called "Estrogen Overdose" which will air live this Saturday May 2nd at 7am CST You can listen on-line at: www.blogtalkradio.com/Mike-McNicholas/2009/05/02/Estrogen-Overdose Mission: to promote women in music of all genres. Women tend to not receive the spotlight that they deserve in music. Our goal is to make fantastic compilation CDs of talented female singers, songwriters and musicians, and to market them to broadcast media and radio. This week, we will feature the music of The Jennifer Jennings Band. In subsequent shows, we will play music from up-and-coming female singer songwriters.     Memorial Day Tribute - Inspirational Video for Fallen Soldiers
    After being chosen for the US Military Website, "Tapestry of Freedom" by Keenan Baxter has been used for Funerals of Fallen Soldiers all over the US. In addition this song was made into a video by Daniel Webster College for their Homeland Security Department.

    While this video doesn't deal directly with fallen soldiers, it does show Americans what real partriotism is all about, after all, we do feed the world, and save lives without asking for anything in return.

    Remember our Fallen Soldiers this Memorial Day! You'll see why this song hits the spot!
