Highlights from the Chicago Red Stars vs. LA Sol 1-1 tie held on June 3, 2009 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
The Red Stars held the number one team to a 0-0 tie, until Red Stars forward Ella Masar slotted a ball in front of the goal where teammate Cristiane then nailed it into the back of the net. Then, in the last minute of regulation, Camile Abily hit a great volley into the net after the ball deflected off a few players in the box to tie up the game. The final score was 1-1.

My love Cristiane is the best player male or female playing on U.S soil!! I hope she enjoys playing in our city and I hope WPS and Red Stars get up and MARKET HER!! Cristine and Marta have the skills to make the game attractive to the masses in America and they represent what the game is around the world,the game of the poor.
