About me:
HERStory
Chica Luna Productions is a non-profit organization that seeks to identify, develop and support women of color who strive to use popular media to engage social justice themes and are accountable to their communities. It was founded in 2001-- by Elisha Miranda, Sofia Quintero and Sonia Gonzalez who are all working artists and activists. We opened our East Harlem, New York doors on 106th and Lexington on October 15, 2004. Chica Luna has a one-year film/video production program called the F-Word, an artistic workshop series open to the community, a yearly film showcase, an internship program, a bi yearly visual art exhibit, a theater lab and we are currently taking submission for our first ANTHOLOGY due out in 2007.
