Bio

.. Nicholas Roesler (pronounced RACE-ler) began spending a lot of time experimenting with songwriting and recording after arriving in Minneapolis. Nick called on friend/drummer extraordinaire Keith Larsen to add drum tracks during a two-day recording session in a Pasadena, CA studio. The first song from this session, "Decision," was chosen for local release on Rift magazine's first CD compilation and also picked for Broadjam.com's College Credit 101-Singer/Songwriter CD Compilation CD. Soon after, "Decision" was licensed to use in two MTV network series, a Lifetime Television show and the Oxygen network.

Nick asked good friend / music mentor Casey Virock to play bass and guitar for live gigs, both in acoustic and electric settings. Live drum duties have been filled by Keith Larsen and Jeff Bahr. Chicane Theory have played numerous Midwest stages, been chosen to play at music festivals in the US and Canada, provided music for GAP Jeans, have been guests on TV shows and Radio stations, and even provided tour support for one of their musical heroes, Adam Franklin!

Chicane Theory's 2008 debut EP Lose Track of Time was recorded by Roesler, mixed by Ed Ackerson @ Flowers Studio, and mastered by Bruce Templeton @ Magneto Mastering. Copies of Lose Track of Time are available at Electric Fetus. Cheapo, and Treehouse Records (MN); and Deaf Ear Records (WI) and a dozen online retailers INCLUDING ITUNES!. Since it's release, the disc has played on over 200 radio stations and continues to receive spins everyday.

Currently, songs are being selected/sifted through for Chicane Theory's forthcoming full length album due in 2011.
