This profile will feature both original and cover songs. I have 2 bands and I do solo acoustic shows also. My rock band is called The United Snakes... My dance band is called The Bombsquad. Bombsquad plays all the Detroit area casino's and festivals. Plus we do many corporate and private functions. The rock band is what it is... Just good rock music played buy 3 long time musicians. It also features my brother Mike Chichkan on drums.....and Mitch Taylor on bass guitar.
The Bombsquad is a 6 piece act when I can afford to bring my 2 front ladies. But the nucleus of the band is a 4 piece and has been together for 9 years... no member changes. It features Tony Calabrese on keyboards, Brian McDonnell on bass/vocals...and Phil Charrette on drums/vocals and of course me on guitar and vocals... Occasionally we have 2 great female singers that join us Mrs Donna Curtin...Donna fronts the Funk Bro's when she is not with us and the lovely Denise Edwards. They are 2 of the best female singers in Detroit. Anyway...if you need more info let me know and i'll be glad to share it with you.

Hello people... I'm a Canadian musician and have been performing music all my life. I have been in 2 national recording acts and many touring professional bands. I was the lead guitarist for a very famous band out of Canada called Helix....on Capitol/Aquarius records I played on 2 albums and did a video they have released. Helix has sold over a million albums. The other national act was Mindstorm...which was on Aquarius records also. I performed on their 2nd album along with members of another legendary Canadian band called April Wine. I am a lead vocalist and lead guitarist.
I am a proud sponsor of Godin Guitars... and currently am in 3 different bands. One is a corporate casino type band that does a variety of music. Mostly old school soul, funk, motown, and todays hits called THE BOMBSQUAD. The other band is full blown rock...lol my fav. ... we are called THE UNITED SNAKES. I also do solo acoustic/vocal performances throughout Michigan and Canada. I currently do 200 to 250 shows a year. Ive had the opportunity to open up for many of the worlds bigest names in music and my experience playing live is deep to say the least. There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
