Starting with Matt playing banjo and singing songs at open mike nights, only to be named "Chicken Shed Zeppelin" by his mad friend after an audience member noted a similarity to Led Zeppelin. After a time hooking up with old time fiddler Ade and playing duos, soon turning to a trio with the addition of Dave on git-tar the sound was almost complete... The band literally stumbled upon Felix the double bass player by the side of a muddy track and she just happened to know the greatest mandolin player in the history of music! Honest! Chicken Shed Zeppelin play old-time fiddle-thrashing, yeeharhollerin' breakneck speed acoustic dance music with attitude to get ya on ya feet in a hurry and shakin' your old-time booty with a VENGEANCE!
