CHICKS WITH PICKS (CWP) is a writers' night in Nashville, TN, that promotes the female singer-songwriter! It started out in Larissa Bovetti's brain as one night booked just to perform with her girlfriends, but it quickly turned into a monthly event. In late 2006, Larissa handed over the hosting duties to fellow songwriters Roxie Randle and Sabrina. Since then, Roxie and Sabrina have taken the monthly show to a whole new level, increasing attendance and enjoying a varied pallet of music at venues such as the now-defunct Caffeine, The Crescent Cafe, and most recently, Edgehill Studios Cafe. CWP has become one of the premier places to check out Nashville's most talented women!
April 9, 2009 will mark the end of regularly scheduled (monthly) shows, but special events will still take place several times per year. Be sure to subscribe to the CWP myspace blog to get updates on future events!

ROXIE RANDLE
Like the aroma of carrot soup to Bugs Bunny, you can't help but be lured into the room as Roxie starts to sing. Her 2006 debut album, "Live at The French Quarter Cafe," has been described as "perfectly paced and executed," "smart and refreshing," "one hit song after another." Roxie's newest release, a collection of acoustic demos called "Something Real," is already garnering rave reviews.
SABRINA
"Breathing music into life" is Sabrina's mantra. Whether it is the unique slap-picking guitar style or the velvet fiery voice, the first note from Sabrina immediately commands your attention. Following a banner tour in support of her debut CD "Angels Watching," Sabrina is continuing to tour as she writes for her next album, "Simply."
