Formed in 2003, Chidied (pronounced "she died") toured regionally throughout all of Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas and shared the stage with such national metal acts as In This Moment, Necrophagist, Ion Dissonance, Daath, Beneath The Massacre, Cephalic Carnage, Thine Eyes Bleed, Year of Desolation, Stavesacre, Dryline, Jacknife, Taking Names, Brutal Fight, Sons of Azreal, The Destro, Losa, Element Eighty, Hell Within and War of Ages
In the summer of 2007, they were nominated in the BEST METAL BAND category by the respected weekly publication the DALLAS OBSERVER and were voted DFW METAL BAND OF THE MONTH by Xtremedfw.com for November 2007
In September 2006, they released their debut EP “Agony Is A Welcomed Scar”, recorded at 379 Productions by fast rising producer D.Braxton Henry (A Dozen Furies, Jacknife, Dryline) In the fall of 2008, they headed into TLA Studios in Weatherford , Texas and recorded 2 new tracks, “Death of An Empire” and “Little Neddy Goes to War.”
In April of 2008, Chidied have decided to disband and pursue other interests.
