Mostly soundtracks and classical though I also enjoy classic rock and county
Movies
Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Retirn of the Jedi), Star Trek (all of them except the one Shatner wrote and directed (STV: The Final Frontier) and lots of other Fantasy and SF films as well as great dramas such The Green Mile and Castaway
Television
Star Trek - all incarnations including The Animated Series, Star Gate, Wonder Woman, Star Gate Atlantis, House. I give most Science Fiction shows a couple of episode trial.
Books
The Last Unicorn. Anything by Lynn Flewelling, Carol Berg, Mercedes Lackey. The robot series of short stories by Asimov. The Wolfwalker books by Tara K Harper. Most of the Star Trek books.
Even though I love the Lord of the Rings movies, I still don't enjoy reading the books.
Heroes
Real heroes - the officers and firefighters who went into the World Trade Center on 9/11. While all of them are heroes for what they did, I am particularly proud of the ones who weren't on duty and still responded to the scene.
The men and women who put on a uniform (LE, fire, military) everyday in their williness to defend the rest of us.
Fictional heroes - Wonder Woman.

As an editor for Flying Pen Press I am looking for great fantasy novels, both adult and Young Adult - please check out my guidelines at:

About me:
A native Texan, Carol found her way to her current home in Colorado by way of a five-year detour in The Nederlands - courtesy of her husband Tim and the US Air Force.
An avid reader at a young age, her strong desire to write came from her love of (her husband calls it her obsession with) Star Trek. It was this early love of Star Trek that led her to the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres.
Carol's family includes her husband Tim; their son John; and her four-footed canine friend - Kans.
In addition to her writing she has worked as a receptionist/office manager for two veterinary clinics, a deputy sheriff in El Paso County Colorado and for the Professional Bull Riders.
She has been published in various anthologies and magazines including "Creature Fantastic", "Illuminated Manuscripts", PanGaia Magazine, "Stories of Strength", "The Stygian Soul", Baen's Universe and Tales of the Talisman.
She is a contributing author to Dragon Moon Press' EPPIE award winning The Complete Guide to Writing Science Fiction. And her first novel - Call of Chaos was released in July 2008 by Double Dragon Books.
In addition to her own writing, she is the editor of the online e-zines: The Lorelei Signal (www.loreleisignal.com) and Sorcerous Signals (www.sorceroussignals.com).
She is also a member of SFWA, Broad Universe, Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and Pikes Peak Writers.
