BUY PURPLE RAIN FROM ITUNES. CONTACT THE CHIHUAHUAS info@thechihuahuas.co.uk The Chihuahuas were formed in late 2008, by a gang of desperate men in Glasgow's rain-soaked badlands. Sick of manufactured pop and out-of-step with the modern world, they roamed the streets looking for that thing that made Willie Dixon swing and Elvis sing. They discovered ..Rammy Music.., a blend of rockabilly, mariachi, bluegrass, country, cajun and rock 'n' roll all mixed in with generations of celtic tradition! The band experimented with various lineups and instruments; banjos, mandolins, accordions, guitarrons, ukeleles, viheulas all featured in The Chihuahuas ceaseless search for the ultimate Rammy combo. Finally they settled on the hillbilly monster currently shaking stages up and down the country. Blistering shows and rave reviews have resulted in The Chihuahuas being a must-see live act... With their infectious mix of a Hank Williams-meets-The Pogues style, rabble-rousers and old style takes on new tunes, the band have found fans across the country. Healthy local and national airplay along with invites to festivals this year and next, the band look like they are in for a busy time. Go see them while you can! -

Dear friends of celtic-rock,
we're happy to announce our new promotion and networking offer 2011.
Our first goal is to make celtic music visible in Germany and so we search contact to bands, promoters and organisers from all over the world. Our new brochure describes our promotion possibilities and direct contacts to our team members who are responsible for magazine, radiostation, video-channel and our diary of events.
Please find the brochure in an English and German version on our website at:
http://www.celtic-rock.de/kontakt/promotion
It would be terribly nice, if you forward this information to other interested people in your business environment.
Hope you enjoy it and don't hesitate to contact us.
Best wishes
