1. I was born with a white last name. On my records, it reads that I was a white Catholic named Alejandro Chapman.
2. I didn't have a birth certificate or ID until this year.
3. Since moving to Oregon I've suffered a few mild and intense panic attacks. Not so much anymore.
4. I'm pretty sure it's safe to admit to being an alcoholic.
5. I once married my parents in our old trailer when i was about 4 or five years old.
6. my parents are dead. ma went in 94 cos of a bad liver and ticker, probably cos of the drugs. pa went in 01, same thing. bad liver and heroin abuse.
7. i've devoted the last 4 years of my life to serious, passionate, hopeful yet half assed songwriting. writing mostly what id peg as obscure optimistic/drunk/tv obsessed stoner/sad bastard music.
8. i've been homeless on and off for years, mostly couchsurfing throughout socal and the great northwest.
9. there are degrees of separation between me, the undertaker, ryan adams, wilco and porn star janine lindemulder.
10. i once tried to write a concept album about the first 5 wrestlemanias, set to a rise and fall relationship in the late 80s. still under construction.

13. part of me just wants to be cool and respected and loved by all of you. we're taking that bitch to school. he's doing much better and is growing new middle fingers. i've learned not giving a fuck gets you a long way.
14.i'm actually getting attention from girls this year. i do my best to be a fine gentleman/beacon of chivalry. yet i'm teetering ever so slowly, back and forth to the idea that i can only be charming or hook up with a girl when i'm drunk.
15. i am honestly as humble as can be, and i try my hardest to show my love for all that i can and all that I am allowed to. yet my ego is one of proudest and most prized possessions.
16. the flaming lips is honestly one of my favorite bands of all time. i hate that years ago,i'd said that every other band under the sun had saved me. but this band actually did. new years 06-07 with the lips was one of the greatest nights of my life.
17. recently, i've worked out a lot of issues with myself, dealing with past depression and all the more to come, as well as my teetering self esteem and social skills. this year brought along something of a full on punk rock revolution, where i learned to just not give a fuck. at least about the things that don't really truly matter in the grand scheme of everything. ironically i found this out after tapping into my aspiring alcoholism.
18. still working out the whole "i'm gonna die one day" thing. that's going alright. a lot better than last year.
19. i've been drinking alot. like a lot. like i could probably drink some of you under the table. i ran up a 75 dollar beer tab that was magically erased from all of history.
20. i've started playing the banjo this year and am getting much better at the piano.
21. i met alan alda a few years back. that was awesome.
22. i've done my share of hitting on older ladies this last year.
23. there is a decent number of friends which i have had romantic or sexual thoughts about.
24. one goal of mine, is to not die in California.
25. i hope one day my album is finished.
