WHO SHOULD JOIN: .

This is the New York City chapter of Childhelp. The mission of Childhelp is to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children. Studies prove that child abuse has lifetime effects on its victims and society. Along with our friends and donors, we are united in our dedication to end the cycle of abuse.

Founded in 1959 by actresses Sara O'Meara and Yvonne Fedderson. Childhelp is one of the oldest and largest national nonprofit organizations. We've held a few informational meetings and are open to new members. A fundraising event has been held at Saks Fifth Avenue recently where St. John's has donated money to ChildHelp and more members have been recruited. Childhelp Ambassador Kathy Lee as well as the founders of the organization were there to support the begining of the New York Chapter. Luv Goldie..xo "HUGS" Autumn Pumpkin Pie: 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust. 3/4 cup white sugar. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. 2 eggs. 1 (15 ounce) can, of 100% Pure Pumpkin. 1 (12 fluid ounce) can Evaporated Milk. 1. Preheat oven to 425 F. 2. Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour into pie shell. 3. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 F.; bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in the center, comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
