With a groan her head was lifted off the forest floor; leaves and twigs tangled within the short auburn locks. The earth spun for a second then stopped, eyes now coming into focus. Rolling to her side, she moved to kneel upon the soft ground. But the being that had followed her was no where in sight. It had called her name, yet she could not help it in the state she had found herself at the time. Once again the question formed in her mind... Was it only a dream? Yume...

He auburn head moved slightly to the side, peering at the figure through a slit in the hair that had come to cover her eyes from sight. She realized then, the shadow had the figure of a human, though it was altered in some way. She moved towards it, despite the severe pain in her body and slipping consciousness. She had to help him, one way or another. Extending a hand forward, she tried to reach out to it but her feet gave way, falling to her knees before him. Still she crawled with every last energy reserve in her body. He needed her help more than she needed his.
SuNam, the Captive	Nov 17 2006 8:50 AM Deeper into the heavily densed forest she went, each step taken sending a shooting pain through her legs. She stopped, closing her eyes for an instant to stop the world from circling in her mind, already feeling rather sick to her stomach. Her breath coming ragged, curls of vapor escaping her nose and mouth as its warmth clashed with the cold atmosphere. It was there, in the moment of slight composure that she felt the presence of another being, though unsure of what exactly it was. Visions were a normal part of this one's life, but in her current state, she could not leave it to chance. Reaching to her side, she took the .45 from the holster at her side, keeping it lowered. Waiting for the right time to use it, if that should be the case.
SuNam, the Captive	Nov 10 2006 12:57 AM She wandered the woods that lay beyond the city's rim, everything foreign and new to her. For two consecutive days she walked, without food or sleep. Her movements already becoming erratic, like those of a broken mechanical doll. Unaware of the other's presence she dragged along, her gaze lost on some unseen objective; consciousness slipping with every step taken.
