"If they aren't able to destroy the desire for freedom, they won't break you. They won't break me because the desire for freedom, and the freedom of the Irish people is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show. It is then we'll see the rising of the moon". - Bobby Sands, martyred 1981
"No real social change has ever been brought about without a revolution... revolution is but thought carried into action." - Emma Goldman
"I’ve concluded that genius is as common as dirt. We suppress our genius only because we haven’t yet figured out how to manage a population of educated men and women. The solution, I think, is simple and glorious. Let them manage themselves." - John Taylor Gatto

About me: reminder of friendship collective is an Anarchist collective that opposes any form of discrimination, including but not limited to: racism, sexism, homophobia, religious intolerance, class discrimination, and nationalism. We are neither republican nor democrat. We are human beings. Love is not a policy and it can't be forced upon us. However love is our best weapon against unjust policies. Our goal is to educate and unite the masses, thus ending the source of poverty and greed, Capitalism.
Who I'd like to meet: ......................... Many claim that our generation is the future, but what future will our generation strive for? Now it seems like our generation will do nothing but hasten the death of individuality and the emergence of totalitarianism. Our generation is comprised mainly of philistines and has reached a new level of spiritual death unheard of in past generations. Sure, there weren't many Free Spirits in decades past, but even then there were some major thinkers who laid the groundwork for critical thought and revolutionary movements. Now, the descendants of those who once stood for something now live on their hands and knees doing anything to get one more thing to call their own.
They search high and low for meaning and companionship, yet do not realise that the meaning they are looking outwards for is closer than they'd expect. The meaning is within them, not in other people. They wonder why they are unable to have any lasting relationship, but the answer is right in front of their faces. The reason they're unable to have a relationship is because they have no substance. Material possessions make them happy, while critical thought appears as a waste of time. As a mere obstruction of happiness, which they think lies in material possessions. They should realise that their petty possessions will come and go, but thoughts, philosophies, and memories can never die.
Who says anarchy, says negation of government; Who says negation of government, says affirmation of the people; Who says affirmation of the people, says individual liberty; Who says individual liberty, says sovereignty of each; Who says sovereignty of each, says equality; Who says equality, says solidarity or fraternity; Who says fraternity, says social order.

The racist vigilantes (affiliated with the Aryan Nation) California Coalition for Immigration Reform are invading our community. CCIR blames immigrants for overburdening social services, taking jobs from legal Americans, and driving down wages. JUST LIKE THE NAZIS BLAMED THE JEWS. CCIR does NOT wish for reform, but are terrorizing migrants by assuming the right to armed vigilantism at the Mexican border. Racism is racism even though they call it immigration reform. Please come out to demonstrate that the CCIR or any other racist group is NOT welcome in our community.

What do you think of these newly discovered crime scene photos (viewed at Abu-Jamal-News.com)?
I have been personally contacting every media outlet I could find and still the mainstream media has completely ignored the story. Many independent media outlets have covered it, but the only independent outlet that has actually published one of the photos is the national Black newspaper, The SF Bay View (click here).
This is just the latest episode in a long history of corporate media bias (and arguably racism) towards Mumia and other political prisoners.
"Who are the oppressed? The many: the nations of the earth, the valuable personages, the workers; they that make the bread that the soft-handed and idle eat" -Mark Twain
We despise all reverences and all objects of reverence which are outside the pale of our list of sacred things. And yet, with strange inconsistency, we are shocked when other people despise and defile the things which are holy to us. -- Following The Equator
The universal brotherhood of man is our most precious possession, what there is of it. -- Following The Equator
Of all the animals, man is the only one that is cruel. He is the only one that inflicts pain for the pleasure of doing it.-- "The Lowest Animal"
"Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out... and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel.... And in the intervals between campaigns he washes the blood off his hands and works for "the universal brotherhood of man" - with his mouth"
"Submission to domination is enforced not solely, nor even most significantly, through blatant repression, but rather through subtle manipulations worked into the fabric of everyday social relationships. These manipulations — ingrained in the social fabric not because domination is everywhere and nowhere, but because the institutions of domination create rules, laws, mores and customs that enforce such manipulations — create a logic of submission, an often unconscious tendency to justify resignation and subservience in one's everyday relations in the world. For this reason, it is necessary for those who are serious about developing an anarchist insurrectional project to confront this tendency wherever it appears — in their lives, their relationships and the ideas and practices of the struggles in which they participate. Such a confrontation is not a matter of therapy, which itself partakes of the logic of submission, but of defiant refusal."
"To those human beings who are of any concern to me I wish suffering, desolation, sickness, ill-treatment, indignities - I wish that they should not remain unfamiliar with profound self-contempt, the torture of self-mistrust, the wretchedness of the vanquished: I have no pity for them, because I wish them the only thing that can prove today whether one is worth anything or not - that one endures." -Friedrich Nietzsche
