Children with AIDS Charity was set up in 1992 to help the youngest of those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS maintain a good quality of life. It is a national UK charity with the aim of working towards a future without poverty or prejudice for these children and their families.

How Children With AIDS Charity helps

CWAC has three main ways of helping children and families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. We provide direct financial support through a hardship and respite breaks project, assistance with transport and aim to educate people about HIV and how to prevent its spread.

I have just this week disclosed to my youngest son age ten my own status and although he is negative my status does affect his life. It is such a politicised disease it is very hard for the children and young teenagers to put it all in a comfortable norm in their own lives and move forward confidently and with their heads held high - as every young person should be able to do. much kudos to you !
