Only six months after opening our doors, Chili Head has been chosen as an "honorable mention" winner in the local takeout category as determined by readers' write-in votes. We hope to take the overall "best of" award next year – and with a full 12 months to convert more of the readers into "chili heads", we like our odds! Thanks to everyone who took the time to show their good taste and support their favorite restaurant.
Welcome to Chili Head Barbeque, home of the BIG Rack (and awesome takeout)!
Like kokopelli, we at Chili Head Barbeque have traveled far and wide, from the Texas hill country to the Carolina backwoods to bring back authentic ethnic BBQ to New England!
Paul Bello, Chili Head Rib Master, had a vision for barbeque in New England. Last fall, he began his quest to make that vision a reality by opening the West Bridgewater restaurant. If you've eaten there, you've had a taste of his vision, and what's in store for the future.
Chili isn't just a food, its a way of life (for many of us). This is the part of the website where we offer interesting information on the wonderful world of chili.
Okay. Paul swears there are interesting things to share about the wonderful world of chili, and they are coming. Soon. We promise.
In the meantime, drop in, check out our new menu and experience the chili head culture first hand...
We open our doors for dining guests Tuesday-Saturday at 11:30 in the morning, and keep the cookstove going until the cows come home (currently 9 PM). With the opening of the new Saloon, we now stay open until 11 PM on Friday and Saturday night, serving cold drinks and all your Chili Head favorites. We're closed on Sunday and Monday, tending the farm.
Our dining area includes a large family table, several cozy booths and a counter with high-backed barstools. No spitoons, and no spittin' on the floor is allowed! We also have a full bar area, great for meeting friends and sharing some food and drink!
