    ABOUT CHILLFEST

    Chillfest Second Sunday Series begins its 5th Anniversary Season on October 11, 2009. All screenings begin at 4:20pm at LITM in Jersey City (140 Newark Avenue just 1/2 block from the Grove Street PATH). Doors open at 4pm for drinks food and socializing. Dinner menu and full bar available. Tickets $8 at the door, $5 in advance through PayPal. Students $3 at the door with student ID. Check back for continual updates. Please join us!

SAVE ME: A powerful exploration of the controversial ex-gay movement. The story follows Mark (Chad Allen), a gay young man who finds himself at the mercy of his disapproving family. Their solution to Mark's "problem" is to check him into a Christian-run ministry overseen by Gayle (Judith Light), who believes she can help cure young men of their 'gay affliction' through spiritual guidance. But Mark quickly finds solace in Scott (Robert Gant), who is battling family demons of his own. Soon Mark and Scott find their friendship developing into an unexpected romance.
