О себе: Chill is a radio station set up to help people chill. It's made by people who have spent years swapping compilation tapes of chillout tunes. As we also worked in radio, we knew there wasn't anything on radio which did the same job as a great chillout tape. So we thought it would be good to try setting up a station we could flick on at any time and feel good about.
Chill has been running since 2005 on DAB digital radio in the UK. We're now also streaming online at www.helpmechill.com and someone set up a Facebook group for us too!
We love music. If you're into Moby, Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Royksopp, Air, 4Hero or Zero 7, you'll know the kind of thing that helps us chill. If you like the thrill of discovering artists like Jose Gonzalez, Vashti Bunyan, Barefoot or Nouvelle Vague, you'll know why we put this together.
We also love meeting up with people who like to share tunes, and we've been joined by a stellar line-up of chilled producers, remixers and DJs who make special mixes for us every week. You can see the schedule here and the tracks we're playing right now are here.
We've also started three new podcasts, based on listeners' suggestions, to help you chill. Meditation, Living a Chilled Life, and Nutrition are all downloadable now, and there are new episodes every week.
What helps you chill? Pop your comments below, or email chill@helpmechill.com - we might even find some nice prizes for the best stuff we use, and now you can listen online for inspiration at www.helpmechill.com !!!
Я хочу найти: We've found so much good music through MySpace already, it's currently our main source of new stuff! If you know someone with music that would help us chill, we'd love to get in touch.
Even more important, we want to hear from everyone who enjoys chilling with us - tell us what you're into and what you want to hear more of! We want to build the perfect chill experience and we can't do it without you.
Here are the latest pics of us at The Big Chill 2007!

Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
Adviruz and Section 27 present "Nightly Sounds", an intricately woven and rewarding musical tapestry. Available now for free download.
To celebrate our first 27 releases on Section 27 Netlabel, we proudly present to you "Sectioned", a compilation of 27 tracks, amounting to 2 hours across two discs of twisted electronic beats, discordant melodies, haunting passages, broken ambience, bending senses of time and space, microscopic glitches, pounding bass frequencies, sounds between sounds, the human voice and the audible sensation of music dissolving in acid. This is the sound of your mind's eye. This is the sound of the Sectioned... Strap yourself in and enjoy the experience.
Also features a 75 minute bonus disc "Sectioned : Nonimxs", including 9 remixes of selected Section 27 artists by Nonima and 2 original tracks created by Silent Snow and Nina Kardec using existing Nonima tracks.
